Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye has been lashed for bragging about a bullet proof car that allegedly saved him from being killed on Monday.
The Senator, who is always active on twitter, used the medium to praise the car, while thanking God for having escaped unhurt.
Recall that in a series of tweets on Monday, Dino Melaye, who has been in a serious face-off with the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, claimed that he had escaped death again.
He wrote, “Just escaped another assassination in lokoja. Can’t say if anyone died but two people with gun wound are presently receiving treatment at DSS. A car was burnt to ashes.
In another tweet on Wednesday, Melaye wrote, “I thank God for my bullet proof car.”
The Senator’s comment irritated a twitter user, @cray_ozy, who could not hide her anger, but addressed the lawmaker as a bastard.
She wrote, “You are a bastard. I repeat you are a bastard. For the last time, you are a bastard. Those people should have used bomb on your useless self.
