Santa Claus may be more digitally-savvy than you think. He can text, Snapchat, email and he even wears a GPS tracker on Christmas Eve so you can follow his journey around the world from the comfort of your own home. 

The TV-style show launched just four months ago and offered breaking news and headlines at 6 p.m. daily in the app's Discover feature. CNN was one of the original Discover partners. The Wall Street Journal reported that the fees Snapchat had been paying CNN were slated to end. CNN is pulling its Snapchat daily news story, reportedly because of challenges making money from CNBC .
