Google has announced it will no longer scan users' emails to target ads. Above, the company's headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., in 2015. Google will no longer scan emails in Gmail accounts in order sell targeted advertising, the company said Friday.

Protesters Rail Against GOP's Latest Obamacare Repeal Effort

Angry constituents and lawmakers reacting to the latest Republican effort to dismantle Obamacare assembled Monday outside the offices of elected officials, staging a sit-in, a die-in, and livestreaming an impromptu rally on the steps of the United States Capitol.  The protests came as the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office released its analysis of the Senate's Better Care and Reconciliation Act, estimating that 22 million people would lose their insurance over the next decade. 

Elizabeth Warren Calls For Democrats To Embrace Single-Payer Health Care

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) says it’s time for Democrats to run on single-payer health care across the country. President Barack Obama “tried to move us forward with health care coverage by using a conservative model that came from one of the conservative think tanks that had been advanced by a Republican governor in Massachusetts,” Warren, referring to Mitt Romney, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published Tuesday.
