Customs Officer Shot Dead a Civilian over N,500 and Tries To Escape

An officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) identified Godwin shot at an unarmed civilian, and gave up the ghost instantly.

There was no combat between the deceased and the custom officer from the recorded
video, though, they seem to had words with each other before the officer gunned him down

The person who recorded the video was also threatened but he stood his ground, insisting that the officer had no right to confiscate his phone.

However, on the contrary, the Nigeria Custom Service Officer actually  killed one of his colleague on muffty who was with the commercial vehicle they stopped to search.

Whatzuplagos visited the Nigeria Customs Service twitter page to further get more clarification on the incident and this was what we stumbled on; a audio link of one of the eye witness at the scene

The statement read: “The attention of Nigeria Customs Service has been drawn to a disturbing video going viral with conflicting narratives.

You can click on the direct link to the eye witness audio testimony to listen to it version of the story.

The question is, why do we now have conflicting narrative on this incident?

Whether the deceased is a customer officer or not, what right have the Nigeria Customs to shot at an unarmed person?

The voice you heard didn't identify itself neither the other person at the receiving end identify itself nor its office.
