AWCON 2018 Final: South Africa Coach Ellis Eager To Beat Nigeria




The South African Women’s team Head coach, Desiree Ellis, says that the Banyana Banyana is determined to win the AWCON 2018 tournament when they confront the reigning champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria at AWCON Final slated for Saturday’s 1st December, 2018 battle.

The Banyana Banyana had defeated the Super Falcons in their earlier encounter at the Group B stage game.

According to history this will be 4th time South Africa reached the final of the Africa’s women’s football competition and Desiree Ellis seek to make history by winning the AWCON 2018 title after; Super Falcons had been defeated them previously at AWCON 2000.

These are her words “We will celebrate tonight and start preparing for the final. We are not a team that talk much in the media,”
“We will work together as a team and plan again. And hope to execute the plan because that’s all it is about. We have never won the Women’s AFCON and we are going to give it shot and see what happens on the weekend” as reported via CAF.com
