Founders Conference to host 1,200 tech Start-ups in Lagos
Founders Conference is set to host 1,200 tech start-ups at its second edition on Thursday May 11,2017 at Sheba Centre, Coza, Beside FCMB, Mobolaji-Bank Anthony, Ikeja, Lagos.
The conference which is a platform for technology entrepreneurs, tech geeks, web application developers, technology business investors, and technology enthusiasts is organised by Venture Starter Limited and centred on discussions, insights and opportunities that will foster technological growth and innovation in the country's technological space.
According to a statement from the organisers, Akin Oyebode, executive secretary, Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and Eyo Bassey, Chief Executive Officer, Payporte.com will present the keynotes at this year’s event tagged:"Driving Change By Innovation."

The convener, Bunmi Jembola said: " Founders Conference was conceived as a melting pot for Nigerian technology startup founders to learn, network, pitch their ideas, gain better visibility and access viable fund providers.
"We have no doubt we are on the right path to achieving the goals of the conference hinged on shaping the future of technology in Nigeria and by extension, the African continent."
He said that the conference will also focus on pitching session for about 30 innovative tech startup founders and providing one-day high-value training from successful tech-preneurs.
He added that 10 very promising tech start-ups would be absorbed into the Venture Acceleration Program created by the organisers.
Founders Conference was first held last year drawing about 300 tech space players, entrepreneurs, speakers and tech enthusiasts including Dr. Henrietta Inwuegbuzie of Lagos Business School, Fikayo Ogundipe of Tolet.com.ng, Bilikiss Adebiyi Abiola of Wecyclers among others.
