The story has been told of one of Davido’s friends who died last week but who is not being talked about like DJ Olu and Tagbo. I was in a meeting upstairs when our TV producer, Joan Omionawele called me on the phone. Strange, because she knew I was engaged at the moment. I didn’t pick up. She called twice again and I was immediately suspicious. What’s going on in the newsroom? I didn’t have to wonder for long: she came to the office where I was meeting and crashed it. ‘Sorry Jide, but there’s something really important you need to know.’ I excused myself from the meeting and walked with her. Then she told me Chime Amaechi‘s family members were here. Chime who? ‘Chime now. The other guy that died with Davido’s DJ in Banana Island.’ ‘Oh shoot!’ I said. That’s important.

Gossip: Davido Is Still A Suspect.... –Police CP. Imohimi-Edgal

Lagos State Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal stated in an interview with Channels television that Davido’s response to his friend Tagbo’s death raised suspicion. He also stated that this was the main prompt for further investigation by the police. In an interview with Channels Television Breakfast Show, yesterday, October 15, Edgar spoke about Tagbo’s death and why Davido is being investigated.

Gossip: Suspended Amazon exec’s fiancée calls off wedding

Amazon Studios head Roy Price — suspended “indefinitely” this past week  after being accused of sexual harassment  — was about to marry writer Lila Feinberg in four weeks but she has now called off the wedding. Feinberg and Price   were to tie the knot   on Nov. 12 in a lavish ceremony at The Carlyle on Madison Avenue, but multiple sources confirm that Feinberg — an award-winning playwright and TV writer — has just canceled it.
